When was the last time you purchased furniture from one of the big box stores that was crafted by hand? At Grabill, all our custom fine furniture goes through a rigorous process:
- We hand-sort our lumber for color, stability, and grain features
- We hand-sand and edge-break all surfaces to open up the grain for maximum adhesion of stains, paints and finishes.
- We hand-rub after finishing to remove debris, provide a uniform sheen and protect against scuffing and scratching.
