Q. I have a Grabill kitchen. How do I get spare parts?
A. Contact the dealer you purchased the kitchen through. If they are no longer in business, use the Find A Dealer section of the site to select another dealer to work with.
Q. I have a Grabill kitchen. What do you recommend for cleaning?
A. To give your cabinet a more thorough cleaning and maintain the finish’s original clear glow, use a mixture of warm water and oil soap (such as Murphy’s Oil Soap). Mix (one) 1 Tablespoon of soap per gallon of warm water, then apply with a clean damp cloth. After cleaning, carefully wipe off cabinets.
For in-depth cleaning, use Guardsman Wood Cleaner. This removes wax build-up, polish, and many types of stains and discolorations from wood products.
Whenever possible, avoid letting water run down your cabinet doors into the spaces between the panel and door frames. If any excess water gets onto the cabinet doors, immediately wipe it off with a towel.
TOUCHING UP MINOR NICKS AND SCRATCHES:
You can repair minor nicks and scratches on most of our finishes by yourself with the touch-up kit provided when your cabinets arrived. Follow the instructions provided with the kit. Contact your dealer if you need more touch-up supplies.
ADDING MORE SHINE WITH POLISH:
To increase the gloss and sheen of your cabinetry, Grabill recommends Guardsman Polish. Guardsman Polish contains natural oils which clean, restore and protect wood without wax or abrasives.
Before starting, polish a test area on the back of a door to make sure that you like the way that the polish increases the gloss. Once you feel confident with the results at the test area, begin polishing the door fronts.
